Total GreenHorn Newbie
Hi. We've just purchased our first 5th Wheel. In fact we have yet to get our hitch installed so we can actually go and pick it up. So. That being said be kind to the dummy. We have so many questions it's hard to know where to begin. We got a 30 ft. Nu-Wa Hitchhiker. We're so excited and have so many plans and dreams. For now we're restricted to weekend camping but our ultimate goal is snowbirds (down the line a ways). I've subscribed to Trailer Life and have joined a couple different Camp Clubs for camping discounts, etc. We're exploring the possibility of Work Kamping, anybody out there done that? How's that working out? Do you get enough free time to explore the area? Most of the opportunities we've seen in the magazine/website are for an entire season and I'm not sure we want to start out committed that long but we have time to figure that out. I've read most of the forums and am wondering with just the tv antenna do we need a satallite dish or will the antenna be enough? We love renting DVD movies, how do you do that when you're on the road with no permanent local address? We're going bio-diesel (DSE). Anybody doing that? What is your thoughts on how well it works? Well, I'll be coming back here often so just poke me if I'm getting to be a pain. And thank you in advance for your patience.
